Most companies that offer custom millwork use woods made for paint or stain-grade. For example, pine, fir, and oak. LaRue Woodworking can create any millwork using any softwood or hardwood. This includes, Spanish cedar, poplar, Sapele, Mahogany, Red Oak, White Oak, Birch, Black Locust, Cherry, Maple, and Walnut. As well as, any other wood species a customer requests.
