Overview

Utilizing the simple properties of wood, LaRue Woodworking Walnut Steak Plates not only help keep your food hotter longer, they also keep the meat juices contained AND keep your knives from dulling. Although these Custom Walnut plates were designed with steak in mind, you could certainly use them for any main course as well as a few side dishes. Their size and depth makes them a great plate for outdoor dining, or for bringing that outdoor feeling inside.. 

Our super high quality Steak Plates are handcrafted of varies domestic and exotic hardwoods in their beautiful, natural tones unique to each piece, without the use of paints, stains or dyes (except our CNC engravings). After a nice long soak in our very own LaRue Woodworking Cutting Board oil we then hand rub each board with our own special blend of Mineral oil and Beeswax paste to lock in the oils and keep out anything you are cutting or serving on the boards.

  • Soaked in Mineral Oil and then hand rubbed special blend of Mineral oil and Beeswax

Care and Maintenance:

To clean your Steak Plates, hand wash with warm water and a mild detergent but DO NOT soak. Allow to air dry. Re-apply LaRue Woodworking Cutting Board oil and/or wax paste as needed to bring back the natural luster of the board while protecting its natural beauty.

Wood has grains that will absorb stains and other finishes at different amounts, depending on orientation of the grain, types of woods used and the moisture content of the wood. As a result, variation will occur throughout the wood. LaRue Woodworking cannot be responsible for the actual degree of variation of colors and sheens that may occur in your custom project. Natural UV light and age will also affect the color and sheen of your custom piece over time.
